Why We Built Carbon3
Scope 3 emissions represent the majority of corporate climate impact, yet most of the capital needed to reduce them never reaches the supply chain. When suppliers invest in decarbonization, the benefits often flow upward for free, leaving projects underfunded and transitions slow. Carbon3 was built to fix this structural imbalance by creating a market where the costs and benefits of emissions reductions can be shared, priced, and traded transparently.
We believe Scope 3 decarbonization will not scale without market infrastructure.

30+ years in energy, maritime, and industrial sectors. COO of the Methanol Institute, where he drove global methanol fuel adoption and regulatory engagement with IMO/ISO. Managing Director/Partner at Green Marine, where he is building methanol-fuel infrastructure including a bunker trading platform. Global experience leading cross-border IPOs and sustainability initiatives.

Serial entrepreneur with 14+ years in supply chain, product development, and strategy. Amazon China operations leader (built BI/analytics teams, led cross-border logistics programs). Carbon3 (carbon3.net) is a specialized marketplace and market infrastructure platform for Scope 3 emissions insetting. We build the financial and digital infrastructure that converts verified supply-chain emissions reductions into tradable inset credits — measurable, auditable assets denominated in tCO₂e.
We serve project owners seeking to finance decarbonization investments, supply-chain partners looking to co-fund and claim verified reductions within their own value chains, institutional credit buyers requiring high-integrity chain-of-custody assets, and ESG advisors operationalising corporate climate strategies.
Our platform manages the full credit lifecycle: inset credits are issued with transparent metadata and unique identifiers linked directly to third-party verification documents produced under established standards (SBTi, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064); credits can be allocated across supply-chain partners to co-finance projects without double counting; traded openly for price discovery and liquidity; and permanently retired to unlock auditable Scope 3 claims.
