Co-fund emissions reductions in the supply chain

This route is for sustainability, procurement and finance teams with a Scope 3 target they do not directly control. Carbon3 lets these teams co-fund a reduction project at a named supplier. Once an independent third party has verified it, each takes an allocated share of the credits with a full audit trail.

Whether buyers may count supplier reductions in their own Scope 3 inventory is still open under the GHG Protocol revision. Carbon3 builds its records to the strictest reading, and the team can explain what that means for reporting.
