About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
China Shenhua developed and demonstrated ammonia co-firing technology on a 630 MW coal-fired boiler, enabling stable 10-30% ammonia combustion under various loads. This insetting project reduces CO2 emissions directly at the company's power generation operations and was recognized as a top sci-tech innovation in 2024. Evidence: "Taking a 600 MW coal-fired unit as an example, with annual 4,000 operating hours and 10% ammonia combustion at full load, carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 183,700 tonnes per year" — http://www.csec.com/zgshwwEn/jtyw/202502/db3408efde2243b9bd6b77b23d419896.shtml
