About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Tokyu Corporation and partners are developing approximately 98 MW (DC) of new solar power plants to supply Tokyu Railway under a corporate PPA structure. The electricity will cover about 30% of the railway's traction power demand, with plants coming online in phases from April 2026 through fiscal 2027, further decarbonizing the company's rail operations beyond the existing 100% renewable procurement. Evidence: "Tokyu Railway will procure electricity from around 98 MW (DC) of newly built solar power plants under a corporate PPA structure, with supply set to begin in phases from April 2026." — https://www.pv-magazine.com/2026/04/10/japanese-rail-operator-to-procure-98-mw-of-new-solar-via-corporate-ppa/
