About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Aughinish Alumina is demonstrating a 25 MW high-pressure electric boiler to decarbonize high-temperature steam production in its alumina refinery. The project provides flexible demand-side response to the Irish grid, reducing renewable energy curtailment and displacing fossil fuel use for heat. It offers scalability to other industries like pharmaceuticals, food, oil & gas, and chemicals.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
