About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Aalborg MeOH project, also known as Fjord PtX, is developing a Power-to-X facility in Aalborg, Denmark, to produce 130,000 tonnes of green methanol per year using waste-based CO2 from local sources and green hydrogen from a 300-400 MW electrolysis plant powered by variable renewables. The methanol will serve as a sustainable fuel for heavy transport, while the plant will provide excess heat to the district heating system and oxygen for industrial and medical applications. Operations are targeted to start in 2028, contributing to Denmark's green transition.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
