SM Prime entered a long-term contract with Aboitiz Renewables, Inc. (ARI) in 2022 for supply of responsibly sourced renewable energy from geothermal and solar plants to power its operations. This contracted RE procurement supports SM Prime's target of increasing renewable energy share, with over 50% of RCOA facilities using renewables by 2024.
