About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Advanced Methanol Amsterdam (AMA) project, developed by GIDARA Energy, utilizes patented HTW gasification technology to convert 175 kilotons of non-recyclable waste into 87.5 kilotons of advanced bio-methanol annually at a facility in the Port of Amsterdam. This sustainable fuel production replaces fossil-based methanol and avoids up to 350,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year compared to traditional waste incineration. The project achieves significant greenhouse gas reductions equivalent to the emissions of 114,116 cars driving 15,000 km annually.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
