About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Cadence Design Systems signed an aggregated virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) as part of the Net Zero Consortium for Buyers to finance a 180 MW solar project developed with Southern Company. The agreement supports purchaser-caused renewable electricity procurement for Cadence's operations. Once operational, Cadence's portion is expected to deliver solar power equivalent to its entire U.S. electric load and approximately half of its global Scope 2 emissions.
