About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Air China and its subsidiary Air China Cargo have adopted sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for commercial passenger and cargo flights, including the first domestic commercial cargo flight powered by SAF in 2022/2023 and regular use on multiple flights. This includes participation in China's national SAF pilot program starting in 2024 with regular refueling on commercial routes. The initiative uses domestically produced SAF to reduce lifecycle emissions in Air China's own flight operations. Evidence: "The cargo flight used Sinopec Zhenhai Refining SAF products certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and China Aviation Oil provided professional support services from procurement, inspection, transportation and refueling." — https://www.airchinacargo.com/cargo_en/gywm/xwgg/xw/0626/20230626111722162018941_pc.html
