About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Air France-KLM signed binding multi-year contracts with Neste and DG Fuels for a total of 1.6 million tons of SAF to be supplied between 2023 and 2036. These direct fuel supply agreements support insetting by replacing fossil jet fuel in the group's own flight operations, expected to avoid 4.7 million tons of CO2 on a lifecycle basis. Evidence: "Air France-KLM has signed two binding multi-year contracts with SAF providers Neste and DG Fuels for a total volume of 1.6 million tons. ... The agreements cover the supply of a total volume of 1.6 million tons of sustainable aviation fuel between 2023 and 2036, which will avoid 4.7 million tons emissions of CO2 on full lifecycle basis compared to fossil fuels." — https://www.airfranceklm.com/en/newsroom/air-france-klm-pushes-its-sustainability-targets-forward-major-multi-year-sustainable
