About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Loblaw entered into an agreement to purchase electricity generated by wind, solar, and hydropower (including pumped hydro storage) for its Alberta operations. The deal provides over 300,000 MWh of carbon-free energy annually, sufficient to power more than 280 supermarkets and contributing to reductions in Scope 2 emissions. Evidence: "In a Canadian first, Loblaw to purchase electricity in Alberta that is generated by wind, sun and water – helping to cut its nationwide operating carbon emissions by 17 per cent." — https://www.loblaw.ca/en/In-a-canadian-first-loblaw-to-purchase-electricity-in-alberta-that-is-generated-by-wind-sun-and-water-helping-to-cut-its-nationwide-operating-carbon-emissions-by-17-per-cent/
