The CatLiq Demo Facility by Altaca Energy employs catalytic hydrothermal liquefaction technology to convert organic waste and biomass into high-quality bio-crude oil and other valuable products. Completed in 2016 in Gebze, Turkey, it serves as a demonstration plant for producing renewable biofuels with a net energy gain of 7:1. The process supports sustainable energy production by utilizing wet feedstocks without prior drying.
