Alpek's Altamira site in Mexico signed a contract with CFE Calificados starting December 2023 to supply nuclear-sourced electricity covering 99.8% of the site's consumption. This low-carbon contracted energy procurement reduces Scope 2 emissions as part of Alpek's broader renewable and low-carbon electricity strategy.
