About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Amazon partnered with Rivian to design and procure up to 100,000 custom battery-electric delivery vans for its own logistics operations, replacing diesel vans to reduce Scope 1 transportation emissions. Deployment began in 2022 with thousands of vans operational across the US and expanding to Europe. Evidence: "Amazon and Rivian plan to bring thousands of custom electric delivery vehicles to more than 100 cities by the end of this year, and 100,000 by 2030." — https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/transportation/amazons-electric-delivery-vehicles-from-rivian-roll-out-across-the-u-s
