About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The ANRAV project aims to establish the first full carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) value chain in Eastern Europe, linking CO2 capture at Heidelberg Materials' Devnya Cement Plant in Bulgaria with storage in a depleted Black Sea gas field via pipelines. It features an innovative hybrid oxyfuel/amine technology targeting 99% CO2 capture efficiency, minimal energy use, and high retrofit potential for existing kilns. The project is expected to avoid 95% of greenhouse gas emissions, equating to 7.8 million tons of CO2e over the first ten years.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
