About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Eaton completed a 5 MWac solar PV plus 1.1 MW battery storage microgrid at its circuit breaker manufacturing facility in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. The project enables 55% renewable energy consumption and reduces the facility's carbon footprint while enhancing resilience. It is the largest clean energy microgrid in Puerto Rico and became operational in 2024. Evidence: "The project enables the facility... to operate utilizing 55% of consumption as renewable energy and a yearly decrease in emissions by approximately 7,100 metric tons." — https://www.eaton.com/us/en-us/company/news-insights/news-releases/2024/eaton-completes-first-of-its-kind-clean-energy-project-in-puerto.html
