Alpek signed a 5-year PPA with YPF Luz to supply renewable solar energy from the Zonda Solar Park to its PET resin production site in Zárate and Ecopek PET recycling facility in Pacheco, Argentina, covering approximately 25-30% of electricity demand at these sites. This contracted renewable energy directly reduces Scope 2 emissions from Alpek's operations in Argentina.
