TSMC signed a 20-year PPA for 20,000 GWh total renewable energy (1 TWh annually), with TSMC subscribing 500 GWh per year and inviting suppliers to join the remaining capacity. This insetting project procures renewables for TSMC's own operations and directly finances low-carbon energy in its value chain. Evidence: "signed a long-term renewable energy PPA ... with a total 1 TWh annually or a total of 20 TWh for 20 years, of which 500GWh was subscribed by TSMC every year ...
