About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
AGRANA is implementing a plant-wide heat recovery network at its Aschach, Austria starch facility to capture previously unused waste heat and exhaust air. The €15 million project targets 23,000 tCO2e annual emission reductions with phased commissioning planned by 2031/32 as part of the company's Scope 1&2 decarbonization efforts. Evidence: "A plant-wide heat recovery network at the site in Aschach, Austria (ACS – Starch segment), which harnesses previously unused potential of waste heat and exhaust air (investment: € 15 million; emission savings potential: 23,000 tonnes of CO2e; planned commissioning by 2031|32)" — https://www.agrana.com/fileadmin/inhalte/agrana_group/annual_reports/2025_26/AGRANA_Annual_Financial_Report_2025_26_EN_web.pdf
