About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Asturias H2 Valley project is a pioneering Power-to-Hydrogen Hub developing a 150 MW renewable hydrogen plant by repurposing the Aboño coal power plant site in Spain to decarbonize the regional economy. It demonstrates integrated hydrogen production and distribution optimized for renewable energy availability and industrial demand, reducing investment costs and environmental impact through infrastructure reuse. The project will avoid 1.3 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions over its first ten years while generating jobs and aligning with EU green strategies.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
