About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
As one of the first airports in Europe, Copenhagen Airport installed a 900 kW / 1,200 kWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in 2024 at Maglebylille. The pilot project, part of the EU-funded ALIGHT initiative, stores green power including from on-site solar to support electrification and manage energy in airport operations.
