About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

RWE is developing the BECCUS project to capture, utilize, and store CO2 of sustainable biogenic origin from its biomass-fired power plants at Amer (Geertruidenberg) and Eemshaven in the Netherlands. The project supports negative emissions and contributes to a climate-neutral Dutch energy system as part of RWE's net-zero by 2040 goal. Evidence: "The BECCUS (Bio-Energy Carbon Capture Utilisation & Storage) project aims to reuse and store CO₂ of sustainable, biogenic origin at RWE's Amer and Eemshaven power plants." — https://www.rwe.com/en/press/rwe-generation/2023-06-20-beccus-project-to-play-crucial-role-in-climate-neutral-dutch-energy-system/
