China Merchants Bank piloted prefabricated construction for its Beijing Yuetan Sub-branch, using factory-prefabricated components for rapid on-site assembly with green materials. The branch includes a rooftop solar PV system and smart zero-carbon management system for real-time energy monitoring and emission reduction. It achieved carbon neutrality certification shortly after opening via green electricity certificates.
