About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Sanlam installed and commissioned a 3 MW grid-tied solar PV carport system at its Bellville headquarters campus in Cape Town, South Africa. The on-site renewable installation powers the company's own operations, significantly reducing reliance on the national grid and supporting South Africa's energy transition. Surplus energy is planned to be fed back into the grid.
