About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Carnival Corporation has piloted biofuels as a fossil fuel replacement on multiple ships, including two in 2022, one in 2023, and four in 2024, using liquefied bio-methane and residual biofuels derived from organic waste. These tests support lifecycle GHG reductions and can be used in existing engines without modifications. Evidence: "Successfully continued to pilot the use of biofuels as a replacement for fossil fuel on four ships in 2024, one ship in 2023 and two ships in 2022" — https://www.carnivalcorp.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/FY2024-Sustainability-Report-FINAL.pdf
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
