About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Vedanta Zinc International (VZI), a Vedanta subsidiary, signed a PPA with Enernet Global for a 12MW DC solar PV plant at Black Mountain Mining operations in Northern Cape, South Africa. The plant will generate ~29 GWh annually, substituting Eskom supply and reducing emissions by ~12,244 tCO2e per year. Construction started Q1 2024 with expected completion in ~9 months; 25-year operational term. Evidence: "Independent Power Producer Enernet Global (Enernet) has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to build, own, operate and maintain a 12MW DC Solar Photovoltaic (PV) plant with Vedanta Zinc International’s (VZI) Black Mountain Mining operations in the Northern Cape, South Africa." — https://enernetglobal.com/vedanta-zinc-international-signs-an-agreement-with-enernet-for-a-12-mw-solar-pv-plant-in-south-africa/
