About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The BOOST Project implements the first-of-its-kind commercial plant using MyRemono’s NXRe PMMA modular technology to chemically recycle PMMA waste into high-quality recycled Methyl Methacrylate (r-MMA). The process optimizes depolymerization with molten metal-flow for high efficiency, producing approximately 4,345 tonnes of r-MMA per year and avoiding over 13,000 tonnes of fossil-based raw materials annually, achieving a 96% relative GHG emission reduction compared to virgin production. It supports circular economy goals and has potential scalability to other plastics like PS and PO.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
