About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

K+S is constructing a biomass combustion plant and CHP plant at the Borth salt works to replace natural gas, enabling the switch to biomass as part of ramping up renewable energies. The project aims to reduce emissions significantly as part of broader site decarbonization efforts targeting CO2 neutrality by 2030 at certain sites. Evidence: "Construction of a biomass combustion plant and a CHP plant to reduce emissions by more than 100 kt CO2 p.a. by 2026." — https://www.kpluss.com/.downloads/ir/2026/kpluss-company-presentation-april-2026.pdf

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
