About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Switch from oil-based boiler to biomass boiler at Philip Morris Brazil (PMB) facility, partly powered by on-site solar panels, achieving major reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from manufacturing. Evidence: "In September 2020, PMB switched from an oil-based boiler to a biomass boiler, which led to a major drop in carbon emissions—about 67 percent less greenhouse gases, going from six million kilograms (kg) to two million kg per year. The biomass boiler is partly powered by solar panels installed on-site." — https://www.pmi.com/sustainability/case-studies-and-market-stories/how-pmb-is-powering-low-carbon-progress

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
