About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Multiple PPAs for solar at Carosue Dam: 6MW with Nomadic Energy (commissioned July 2023) and additional 8MW with Pacific Energy (commissioned February 2025), integrated into gas power network. Part of ongoing renewable rollout reducing Scope 1/2 emissions. Evidence: "In February 2024 Northern Star entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Pacific Energy for supply of electricity to the Carosue Dam Operations (CDO) incorporating 8 MW of solar generation. This solar generation will be integrated into the existing gas power station network (operated by Pacific Energy) and is in addition to the 6MW of solar generation capacity that is already operational at CDO (operated by Nomadic Energy)." — https://www.nsrltd.com/media/ug2f5lrq/fy24-esr-suite-climate-change.pdf
