About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Repsol commissioned the first large-scale plant in the Iberian Peninsula dedicated exclusively to producing 100% renewable fuels from organic waste such as used cooking oil at its Cartagena refinery. The facility produces renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel, bionaphtha and biopropane, directly decarbonizing Repsol's refining operations and fuel value chain through on-site production. Evidence: "Repsol is the only company in Spain and Portugal with a plant fully dedicated to the production of renewable fuels on an industrial scale." — https://www.repsol.com/en/press-room/press-releases/2024/repsol-begins-large-scale-production-of-renewable-fuels-in-cartagena-the-first-plant-of-its-kind-in-the-iberian-peninsula/index.cshtml
