About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Mitsubishi Electric installed and began operating a CO2 capture machine developed by ITRI at its Advanced Technology R&D Center in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The demonstration connects the machine to a steam-generating boiler to test solid adsorption-based CO2 capture from flue gas, with Mitsubishi Electric enhancing system energy efficiency using its control and management technologies. The project supports the company's goal of reducing CO2 emissions at its own plants and facilities to achieve carbon neutrality. Evidence: "Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that it will launch a demonstration of technology to capture CO2 from flue gas, using a CO2 capture machine developed by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan and installed at Mitsubishi Electric’s Advanced Technology R&D Center in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture on June 9. The demonstration will last until September 2027." — https://us.mitsubishielectric.com/en/pr/global/2025/0609/
