About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
GFL Environmental developed and owns 100% of a renewable natural gas (RNG) facility at its Central Missouri Landfill in Sedalia, Missouri. The project captures landfill gas (methane) and converts it into pipeline-quality RNG for beneficial use, reducing direct Scope 1 emissions from the landfill operations while generating renewable energy equivalent to powering thousands of homes. Evidence: "Last month, GFL also began production at the company’s first Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facility at CML in Sedalia. That $45 million facility, the first built by the GFL Renewables division, now captures and processes harmful landfill gas emissions and converts them for beneficial reuse." — https://www.sfccmo.edu/gfl-environmental-donates-15000-to-support-agriculture-and-technical-training-at-sfcc/
