About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
China Southern Airlines participates in China's national SAF pilot program, conducting regular refueling with sustainable aviation fuel on commercial flights departing from Beijing Daxing, Chengdu Shuangliu, Zhengzhou Xinzheng, and Ningbo Lishe airports. The program began in September 2024 with initial trials and expanded to 1% blending on domestic flights by March 2025, directly reducing emissions from the airline's own flight operations. Evidence: "Phase 1 (September–December 2024): SAF refuelling trials on 12 flights operated by Air China, China Eastern Airlines, and China Southern Airlines, departing from Beijing Daxing, Chengdu Shuangliu, Zhengzhou Xinzheng and Ningbo Lishe airports." — https://www.greenairnews.com/?p=7427
