About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
NTPC designed and commissioned a 3.7 MW solar plant integrated with hydrogen storage as a stand-alone microgrid supplying 200 kW round-the-clock power at 4,500m altitude in Ladakh. The project replaces diesel generator sets at remote Indian Army locations, eliminating diesel transport logistics and cutting carbon emissions in high-altitude defence operations. Evidence: "Hon’ble Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh virtually inaugurated NTPC’s 3.7 MW solar plant, a first-of-its-kind solar–hydrogen project at Chushul, Ladakh. ... The solar–hydrogen-based microgrid will replace diesel generator sets currently used at remote Army locations, reducing carbon emissions" — https://ntpc.co.in/media/press-releases/inauguration-solar-hydrogen-based-microgrid-chushul
