About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

ArcBest developed and implemented AI-driven City Route Optimization technology across its ABF Freight LTL network to optimize city pickup and delivery routes, reducing miles driven, fuel consumption, and emissions. Phases 2 and 3 launched at more than 150 service centers in 2025, delivering $15 million in cost savings in 2025 and avoiding approximately 4,942 metric tons of CO2e since implementation. Evidence: "City Route Optimization (CRO) remains critical in our ABF Freight less-than-truckload operations. In 2025, we launched CRO Phases 2 and 3 at more than 150 service centers" — https://arcb.com/blog/arcbest-releases-2024-impact-report-and-announces-climate-leadership-award
