About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Syensqo partnered with ENGIE Solutions to install a biomass boiler at its Clamecy site in France, replacing natural gas steam production with low-carbon biomass steam from locally sourced wood waste. The project is supported by ADEME and scheduled for operation by mid-2027, reducing up to 7,000 tons of CO₂ emissions per year (nearly 70% of the site's current emissions). It complements a solar farm at the same site. Evidence: "Syensqo announces a partnership with ENGIE Solutions for the installation of a biomass boiler at its Clamecy site (Nièvre, France). The project will enable a reduction of up to 7,000 tons of CO₂ emissions per year, representing nearly 70% of the site’s current annual emissions." — https://www.syensqo.com/en/press-release/syensqo-site-clamecy-signs-partnership-engie-solutions-biomass-boiler
