About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The CCGeo project, located in Draškovec near Prelog in north-west Croatia, aims to produce power and heat from combustible gases dissolved in geothermal brine using a closed carbon system with internalization of carbon compounds (ICC), resulting in nearly zero GHG emissions over its lifetime.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">10</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">44</argument></grok:render> This demonstration line lays the groundwork for scaling up an advanced geothermal power plant utilizing low-temperature fields in the Pannonian basin.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">22</argument></grok:render> The site is well-equipped with infrastructure, and the project had secured mining concessions, geological investigations, and construction permits before termination.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">24</argument></grok:render>
