About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
DECARBOMALT II (DMC2) is a pioneering renewable heat project that integrates a large-scale solar thermal plant, hot water storage, heat recovery, and an 8 MW heat pump system to provide 80% of the process heat needs for an industrial malting plant in Nova Gradiška, Croatia. It employs a 'heat-as-a-service' model with 25-year Heat Purchase Agreements, enabling nearly 100% greenhouse gas emission avoidance relative to the reference scenario. The project is expected to reduce approximately 6,125 metric tons of CO2e annually and generate about 30 jobs over its lifetime.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
