About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

CoStar Group's expanded Richmond, Virginia campus (750,000 sq ft addition, under construction with expected completion in 2026) is designed for LEED Net Zero and WELL Platinum certification. It includes on-site photovoltaic panels embedded in facades, canopies, and rooftops expected to generate 1,300 MWh annually (offsetting ~10% of campus power) for building needs and EV chargers, plus sourcing additional renewable energy via PPA with a local provider. Evidence: "Our expanded campus in Richmond is designed to be LEED Net Zero and WELL Platinum certified. To support LEED Net Zero designation, we plan to source renewable energy through a power purchase agreement with a local energy provider and build photovoltaic panels (PV) in the building’s facade, canopies, and rooftops. The PV panels are expected to collect 1,300 megawatt-hours of energy, which will be used directly for building needs and to power electric vehicle chargers on-site." — https://www.costargroup.com/sites/costargroup.com/files/2025-04/CoStar%20Group-Corporate%20Responsibility%20Report-2025.pdf
