About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Côté Gold mine received CAD 1.48 million in funding to acquire electric-powered dewatering pumps and mobile lighting towers, upgrade on-site electrical infrastructure, and convert an aggregate crusher from diesel. This replaces diesel equipment with grid electricity for Scope 1 emissions reductions in own operations. Evidence: "The $1.48 million funding will allow our Côté Gold mine to acquire electric-powered dewatering pumps and mobile lighting towers, replacing the diesel-powered equipment currently in use at the mine." — https://www.iamgold.com/English/investors/news-releases/news-releases-details/2025/Ct-Gold-Receives-Funding-through-the-Government-of-Canadas--Low-Carbon-Economy-Challenge-Fund/default.aspx
