Equinox Gold entered into wind power contracts for Santa Luz and Fazenda mines in Brazil starting January 1, 2023, providing 100% clean electrical power via a combination of solar, wind, and hydro. In 2024, Scope 2 emissions at these sites were addressed through a Power Purchase Agreement with the Cumaru Wind Farm, reducing the company's operational emissions.
