Merck KGaA installed rooftop photovoltaic systems at its global headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany, generating up to 560,000 kWh of green electricity annually and reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 300 tons per year as part of the EDISON energy efficiency program. Evidence: "In cooperation with ENTEGA, rooftop photovoltaic systems at the Darmstadt headquarters and a photovoltaic park at the site in Gernsheim are currently being built.
