About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Kraft Heinz plans to install heat pumps, electric heaters, electric boilers, anaerobic digesters and energy storage at 10 U.S. manufacturing plants to electrify thermal processes and reduce on-site fossil fuel use. The project targets Scope 1 emissions reductions inside the company's own operations as part of its net-zero commitment. Evidence: "Through the project, Kraft Heinz aims to slash annual emissions by over 99% from 2022 levels across the 10 plants" — https://news.kraftheinzcompany.com/press-releases-details/2024/Kraft-Heinz-Seeks-to-Reduce-Carbon-Emissions-by-Over-99-Across-10-U.S.-Plants-With-Help-from-a-170-Million-Investment-from-U.S.-Department-of-Energy/default.aspx
