About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Glencore signed a 20-year renewable energy supply agreement with Discovery Green to replace the majority of electricity consumption at four major mining operations (Goedgevonden, Tweefontein, and iMpunzi complexes) with renewable energy starting in 2027. The agreement covers over 290 GWh per year and supports decarbonization of Glencore's South African coal operations under its Climate Action Transition Plan. Evidence: "Discovery Green and Glencore have signed a 20-year renewable energy supply agreement which will see the replacement of the majority of the electricity consumption at four of Glencore's major mining operations with renewable energy." — https://www.glencore.com/south-africa/news/glencore-and-discoverygreen-have-signed-a-20-year-renewable-energy-supply-agreement
