About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Korean Air began commercial operations using a 1% blend of domestically produced sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) on the Incheon-Haneda route starting August 30, 2024, supplied by S-Oil and SK Energy. The program expanded in 2025 to additional Japan routes including Incheon-Kobe and Gimpo-Osaka, using SAF from HD Hyundai Oilbank and GS Caltex, as part of efforts to reduce lifecycle carbon emissions in its flight operations. Evidence: "Today, Korean Air will begin using domestically produced sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for the first time on flight KE719 from Seoul Incheon to Tokyo Haneda." — https://www.koreanair.com/contents/footer/about-us/newsroom/list/240830-Korean-Air-to-operate-commercial-flights-using-domestic-sustainable-aviation-fuel
