About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
CF Industries started up the CO2 dehydration and compression facility at its Donaldsonville Complex in Louisiana in July 2025. The project captures CO2 from ammonia production for permanent sequestration by ExxonMobil, reducing site emissions and enabling low-carbon ammonia production. It qualifies for 45Q tax credits. Evidence: "In July 2025, we started-up the carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) dehydration and compression facility at our Donaldsonville Complex in Louisiana." — https://www.cfindustries.com/newsroom/2025/donaldsonvilleccs
