Vonovia installed and operates a standardized propane heat pump system (HP Cube) in a multi-family building in Donauwörth as a pilot for serial modernization of heating systems. The project, installed in February 2024 and operational since May 2024, demonstrates fuel switching from fossil fuels to renewables with measured performance benefits and is the basis for planned national rollout.
