About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) partnered with Salem Carriers and Electrada to electrify inbound logistics operations using Freightliner eCascadia battery-electric trucks and Charging-as-a-Service infrastructure at Salem's Statesville, NC depot, with en-route charging support. This builds on prior DTNA logistics electrification efforts in the Pacific Northwest and Mexico, directly reducing emissions in the company's supply chain operations. Evidence: "Daimler Truck North America LLC (DTNA) and Salem Carriers, Inc., a dedicated contract logistics company, today announced their collaboration to electrify DTNA’s inbound logistics operations at the Salem Carriers hub near Charlotte, North Carolina." — https://northamerica.daimlertruck.com/news-stories/2024/daimler-truck-north-america-and-daimler-truck-financial-services-collaborate-with-salem-carriers-and-electrada-for-a-new-logistics-electrification-solution
